Toronto, We're On Our Way

It's More Than the Run.

RunAsYouAre. began in 2015 in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver, rooted in the simple belief that running is for everyone. For over a decade, we've put that belief into practice through charitable fundraising, events, and partnerships that support the running community and help move running forward.

Over the years, we've worked with local businesses and global brands to bring unique and experiential running experiences to the community. For the last three years, that has included bringing a fresh new flavour to race week in Vancouver alongside Nike. With our first Toronto store opening in spring 2027, we thought, what better way to kick things off than to bring that same energy to race week here, with Nike joining us to support the running community and bring people together.

From October 15–17, we'll be hanging out and getting to know everyone with a kick-off evening at The Annex, plenty of group runs at Sonndr Cafe, footwear demos, fundraising, and good food from local partners. All alongside anyone who'd like to lace up with us.

Our first step toward opening a location in Toronto's Ossington neighbourhood, 11 years on. Starting the best way we know how: out running with the community.

Meet The Artist

Lynol Lui.

Lynol Lui is an artist who never stopped creating. A runner who did not grow up running. A designer who sees more than what is in front of him.

Born in Alberta, studied in London, and ultimately molded by his experiences in Vancouver, Lynol is a runner, run specialist, designer, artist, and photographer. With a passion that lies in both the creative industry and in running, Lynol's inspiration is drawn from his surroundings and interactions with others.

“Running is a lifestyle for me, and the community definitely brings me inspiration and vibes. There is gratification in both creating something visual and the feeling of running, but the process is separate. I think that's important and gives me balance.”

“It's rare for someone to be able to work where their passions lie, let alone have two of them line up. So I feel fortunate to be able to.”
